This afternoon I walked my goats again, we meandered down a leafy, winding lane. We held up traffic and a driver got mad; it wasn't the best day we'd ever had.
Tomorrow, we'll probably go past the school. then I won't be made to look like a fool and the goats like being stroked under their chin and watching the faces of the children who grin.
Only constructive criticism please. Thank you. ;D

Goat-herding can't be the most fascinating job - or is it a pastime, perhaps? Or an unpaid obligation? Perhaps you could relate (in part 3) a more exciting encounter...

The goats are my friends and I like walking with them... if you don't think it's exciting, then you should try it for yourself. But thank you for your 'helpful' comments. Let's see what others have to say about my poem... that's if anyone can be bothered to read it.
I will make up a different scenario in part 3.

I am not denigrating the joys of goat-walking and goat-herding for caprophiles such as yourself. PS have you tried ukgoats.co.uk - I believe it's THE site for goat-lovers.

There's no such word as 'caprophiles'! and if you're suggesting that I indulge in coprophilia... I have definitely come to the wrong site. I am outraged !

I would've read it, but I didn't like to 'butt' in.

A "caprophile" is a person who likes goats; a "caprophage" is a person who eats goats. You can create any similar word by adding -phile, -philia, -phage, -phagis, -phobe, -phobia to the end of a Latin stem. Many such words have been created eg. homo-, paedo-, geronto-, copro-(that last one is very rude indeed).
