You are the billows of my sail Blowing wind behind me Pushing me forward Oh Christ A friend like you is hard to find The harder you blow the more I come The further on I march I stand up straight for Jesus For my Lord God is the starch In my sails.

I am uncertain I understand you fully, Alex. This poem is a metaphor how Jesus is like a blowing wind on the ocean, leading me into God's embrace.

I just re-read this, which was a waste of my valuable time.

Reading the Word of the Lord is never a waste of time, ma'am. Praise Jesus! Let Him lighten your passage to God!
