Dear New Member: Please post your first posting poems here - You can post as many as you wish. Next time I am onsite I will open a special board for your poetry and will transfer your pieces there so you can keep all your work together. Naturally other members and visitors will be able to find them just as easily. Please do NOT post anything OBSCENE, LIBELLOUS or ILLEGAL. Please comment on other members' work frankly, criticising fairly where necessary, avoiding sycophantic meaningless praise but again avoiding obscenity and insults.
Thank you - Daphne your hostess.

Whispering, it spoke to me, telling me of the sights it had seen on its journey to the place I was at, the seas it had crossed and places it had been.
It was gentle, but I knew of its presence so not quite as calm as it can be when at its best. At its worst it is able to cause real harm.
On this day as it told its tale I listened intently and, in my mind, saw everything it was able to do, everything, from so cruel to so kind.
I really knew all of it before, but, with time, the memories fade. Today it reminded me, and it also was that I had time to listen so, attention, I paid. JT Author's Notes:
I'm not sure about this at all. I was trying to be imaginative, but I've never done that very well as I am just a stupid, fat troublemaker.

Kudos to you !!

I am a bit puzzled by this! If you are the "real" jaydeetee, then you are very welcome to the website and I shall try and extend maximum courtesy towards you. If you can give me some evidence that you are in fact "real" then I am doubly pleased to have you onboard. However, on the other hand, if some mischevious soul has borrowed your pen-name, then I am amused - if the "real" jaydeetee can prove this, then I shall amend the false jaydeetee's pen-name. We shall see.

Please tell me what you think of this one; I think it's one of my best.
Just wait and see
When it comes you will know all you must, because you have been working towards it, maybe not consciously, but you have been and, when it comes, you will be fit.
You will be ready to proceed with it because it will be what is meant to be. It will have been set down for your life. You're not sure of that? Just wait and see.

One of your best? What the hell is it about?
Oh hell... perhaps you should just give up now!

Lovin' your photo Jaydeetee. It's put me off eating Big Mac's, sausage rolls, cream doughnuts, crisps.. in fact, anything... ever again!
From this day on, I am eating nothing but goat food.

I have no idea. I assume the old site has gone down the toilet. But things never disappear online - any old items will still exist. Somewhere.....

Mind Sculptress
The wilderness of my mind, Thoughts race, a whirlwind now begins. A vast expanse of anything, Imagination the puppet, me the strings.
To believe is a simple notion, Exercising the right to concede. Plenty of nowhere’s and nothing’s, And the little bits caught in-between.
Tutoring it in fads and fancies, Deciding what whims I may care. Focusing on what makes things right, No artist could ever compare.
Flippant it seems as I guide it, As I sail through the shallows of focusing thought. Refurbish my matter, rebuild it, Introduce each new thing I’ve been taught.
Escort my mind through a maze of “why”, Hunger for knowledge unbound. Nurture it, feed it, encourage it to grow, Alienating it from shallow ground.
Exercising the ability of recall. Concentration the tool of my works. The ability to see with my eyes closed, Helps me picture and feel past hurts.
As I soldier on through the maze in my mind, As I have expanded myself, I can see. In the midst of everything, nothing and something, Turn the cogs in the wheel that is me.
