On my way home today a fine looking man was ever so brave
And with sufficient strength of mind as to approach me and say

At first I was a bit bemused as this so seldom occurs you see

Though my eyes are open I rarely see that anyone would notice me

Oh but he looked so good so clean and fine,I felt that warmth in his smile
I was gutted when forced to decline purely as it is the wrong time
I told him true I was moving soon away,but for why I could not say
Sharing my secret would have killed it,so I went on my way smiling wistfully

I'd have liked a stronger ending.
"Moving away" is not very interesting.
Something more vicious or at least amusing.

As it is a true story I went for the true ending. Maybe I should have spiced it up a bit, but I didn't have the heart to change it.
